On January 13th 2013 Christopher Mnzava, the chairman of Muheza Hospice Care and until his retirement in April 2012, its Administrator, died whilst on route to Dar es Salaam to get medical treatment. He had been one of the founders of MHC in 2002 and had worked tirelessly for the charity since its beginning. He will be very sadly missed by us all. A small fund has been set up in his memory to provide an outing for the children cared for by the hospice.
